An interesting, Specimen with muscovite mica at the termination. Very large for the locality . This was from the closed North Carolina Ellis Emerald Mine in Hiddenite, Alexander County. These were collected by Ray Benfield in the 1960's. Ray was a regular and diligent collector and amassed a nice assortment of available material. I acquired the remainder of the collection in 2006. Displayed in a 5" x 6" Riker box.
